We are Betty & Kaye

Two friends bridging the vast distance between America and England

Betty is from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina.
I met her when I came across her site Northern Dreams
Betty's poetry really touched me, so after signing her guestbook
I e.mailed her. That was the start of a very precious friendship.
Betty is also a very talented artist as you will see
when you visit her art pages. She also has a wicked sense of humour.
which is very important in friendship, and goes hand in hand with
loyalty, patience and understanding
Betty is a Leo, her birthday the 13th August, which as it happens
is also mine.. So add the odd roar to loyalty, patience and understanding
and you have our friendship.

Kaye

Kaye is a lovely English lady living in Bracklesham Bay, Chichester
in southern England with her husband, son and two very precious pets,
Bobby and Poppy, and bunches of ducks. *smile*
I never will forget the first message she left in my guestbook
and then the first email from her.
Her kindness and compassion touched me immediately.
It seemed from the very start that we had known each other all our lives.
Soon we were talking daily and knew immediately that this friendship
could only grow stronger. And it has done that.
For two Leos to become closest of friends is highly unusual.
We never compete for the limelight. We just stand together through it all.
So she says I have a wicked sense of humour, eh?
Well, let me tell you. This lady can keep you laughing constantly.
Laughter is a big part of her life.
That and her love of animals which is also a very big part of my life.
But most of all, her talent stands far above the crowd.
She has a natural eye for making graphics and pages so beautiful.
And her patience in teaching is beyond believable.
She has been and still is my tutor and has helped me tremendously.
Add to that her talent in writing and you have one amazing lady.
I am so lucky and priviledged to call Kaye my dearest friend.
Kaye, may we always walk the road of life together.
